The sign-in link never came

Check spam and promotions, then ask for a new link; each one works for 15 minutes. Once you are in, add a passkey in Settings and you will not need links on that device again.

Where do the scores come from?

Each hour is scored from the forecast wind against your spot's good winds, thermals, pressure, temperature, the rut and the moon, plus what your own sits, trail-camera photos and nearby fields show. The written explanation only restates those inputs; it never makes up a score or a window.

My sit did not record the walk

The track needs location set to "Always" (iOS) or "Allow all the time" (Android) so it keeps going with the screen off. The app asks only while a sit is running.

Reporting a harvest

Michigan wants a deer reported to the DNR within 72 hours. Hunt:MI reminds you and links to Michigan.gov/DNRHarvestReport; the report itself is made with the DNR.

Sharing on public land

Off by default. Turn it on in Settings to show your public-land sits and sightings to other hunters who share, as a rough 200 m circle with no name, and to see theirs.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account. To have every record erased, email us. See the privacy page for what is kept.

Is it free?

Yes, while Hunt:MI is in beta. When the beta ends there will be a subscription. The app will tell you the price and the date well ahead of time, and nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe. See the terms.
